Can BitLock battery tolerate cold temperatures?

Storage in cold temperature over an extended period of time (weeks/months) can reduce the life span of the battery by 30%-40%. You may have to replace the battery sooner than usual (almost after two years). The temperature impact is gradual. We have tested the lock and battery in -20 celsius and it can live through the freezing cold.
