What type of battery is used in BitLock?

We use lithium metal battery technology, the same chemistry used in coin battery watches and car remote controls. Lithium metal has a high energy density among all lithium batteries and a very low self-discharge rate (%1 per year). So if you don’t use your bike for a long time, the battery still retains its charge.
